Visiting the website is a great way to learn about High Point, but an even better way to discover our school is to visit on campus and see for yourself what makes HPBA so special. The admission process follows a series of steps.  When you decide to register your child in our school, you will need prepare for the following stages:

1. Registration form

Complete the Student Registration Form and submit with the following documents (please note that only the first two items listed are required for kindergarten applicants):

  • Current Immunization records (copy acceptable)
  • A copy of the most recent end-of-year report card and current report card
  • A current teacher or administrator recommendation
  • A copy of the most recent standardized test results (such as PSSA, SAT, OLSAT, etc.)

2. Interview

Once the registration form, registration fee, and requested documents are received, you will be contacted for an admission interview. At least one parent (preferably both) must be present with their student at the interview. For students applying for grades 7-12, a portion of the interview will be conducted individually. The interview will include:

  • Reviewing the completed registration form and student questionnaire
  • A synopsis of the school policies and procedures, including academic and spiritual standards
  • Reviewing standardized test results and report cards
  • A grade-level assessment for K-5 applicants
  • Math assessment for grades 6-12 (as needed)
  • Explanation of course offerings and course registration

3. Decision

The school will notify the applicant by phone, email, or letter of the Admission Committee’s decision. Decisions are made on a rolling basis as applications are received. All financial aid requests follow this link. If a student is accepted, the school must receive the following before registration is finalized, processed and classes are scheduled:

  • Registration fee of $275
  • Emergency medical information and authorization for treatment form
  • Completed and signed financial agreement form
  • Permanent school records received
  • Signed parent agreement form
