At High Point, we seek to provide a well-rounded Christian education. This means making opportunities available that will expand a student’s horizons and open his or her eyes to the world. We value music as a critical learning tool that keeps students engaged in school and encourages skills that are vital for success in the 21st century.
Our fine arts program includes the opportunity to be involved in various musical groups. Graded music classes are found throughout the Academy. In addition to our choirs in elementary, junior high, and high school, we have ensembles and student led worship teams.
In addition to glorifying God with our voices, we hope our students will recognize an ability to develop as instrumentalists with programs like elementary strings, secondary orchestra, and utilizing recorders and ukuleles in all of our elementary grades.
Private piano, vocal, and instrumental lessons are also offered.
Each year our students have the opportunity to compete in all musical areas on both local and regional levels.
