Learning Support
Our Purpose
High Point Baptist Academy’s Learning Support Program meets each student's unique needs to help them reach their highest potential and use their God-given abilities to positively impact the world.
Our Process
Students with diagnosed learning disabilities must submit documentation such as their IEP/504, doctor evaluations, and support plans. Our Learning Support Team will assess these needs to determine if High Point Baptist Academy can provide adequate support.
Our Support
Through the creation of a learning support plan and a combination of resource room, push in, and pull out supports, we can support student learning in the regular classroom.
Additional Support
The Berks County Intermediate Unit provides academic support to High Point students. An intervention specialist conducts screenings for Grades K-8 in reading and offers supplemental reading support, instructional coaching, professional development, and parent partnerships.
