Phil has enjoyed math since high school here at High Point. He graduated from Clearwater Christian College in 2000 with a Math Education major and in 2004 he finished his Master’s in Mathematics at West Chester University. Phil taught high school math at Elkton Christian Academy for 4 years before heading back home and taking a position at HPBA. He has enjoyed each student that comes through his classroom. Phil enjoys sports, specifically soccer and basketball. He also loves interacting with students through sports and has been involved in coaching soccer for several years.

Phil and Wendy were married in the summer of 2000 (so it is easy for Phil to remember how many years they have been married). They thoroughly enjoy their 4 kids, Tori, Carter, Summer, and Maddie, that God has blessed them with. The family enjoys working and playing outside and cookouts with friends. After a busy school year, the family loves summer break. Whether it is a family vacation at the beach, time at granpop’s pool, or spending time at the lake, they enjoy being in or around water.
