Art can inspire students to create and express themselves in a variety of forms. It provides the spark that keeps children engaged and allows them to have fun while exploring the world beyond just a paintbrush. Students develop creativity, problem solving skills, improved judgement, and how to appreciate & understand multiple perspectives. We include art in our curriculum because we understand these important life skills are important in a child’s development.

Elementary

  • Develop their drawing ability
  • Know the key art movements
  • Learn the color theory
  • Explore mixed media
  • Improve figure drawing
  • Improve painting skills

Students will learn to use art tools and materials safely and independently, become confident with a wide variety of art techniques, express ideas independently or collaboratively as a group, and learn to appreciate all stages of the creative process. Our hope is to create a foundation and love for art for years to come.
