Miriam Fairbanks
Miriam (Mimi) has always loved music and decided at age 13 to be a music teacher. She attended Cedarville University as a music education major and later earned a Masters’ degree in music education from Capital University. She taught elementary music for several years in Ohio before moving back to PA, where she grew up.
She met her husband, Greg, at college one week before graduation, and they have been happily married since 2005. They have three wonderful children who attend the Academy, and their favorite thing to do as a family is go to the beach. They are very active at their church, Grace Bible Fellowship Church, in Reading. Mimi also loves to take walks, try new recipes, and play the piano.
Mimi joined the HPBA faculty in 2022 and finds so much joy in the Christian classroom setting! Her goal is to spread to her students the delights of our beautiful Savior and His gift of music.
