High Point Baptist Ministries exist to glorify God. As we work toward this goal with our students, at times they question what that means. We explain that glorifying God means we, as the image-bearers of God, learn and show his image to those around us, in the classroom, on the courts, on the stage, on the fields, and eventually in homes and careers. We demonstrate that God is glorified as we think like he thinks and love like he loves.
As academy staff we seek to model a relational authority structure in order to shape this mindset and to live out the Great Commission’s instructions to make disciples. We live life with them and model for them as we teach them how to lead at home, at work, and in the church. This is discipleship at HPBA. This produces excellence in academics. This is how we glorify God in all that we do.
